Cultivated ginseng generates up to $20 million annually in gross income statewide. Wisconsin and out-of-state residents who deal in ginseng root or seed must meet state requirements.

You will need a PDF reader to view the application packets, which you can print and mail to us with your payment.

Program Changes
In late 2009, the ginseng dealer, and ginseng grower registration packets were revised with ginseng dealers submitting one set of forms while ginseng growers send in a different set of forms.  Previously, dealers and growers used the same form. The out of state dealer registration and certificate have been eliminated.  Out of state dealers will use the dealer forms.
