The Grow Wisconsin Livestock Initiative Panel began in 2004 as part of Governor Doyle’s Grow Wisconsin Initiative. 

Mission Statement

  • Create a business environment that promotes the application of profitability in financial and human capital toward modernization, expansion and diversification of the Wisconsin livestock and meat industry.

Strategic  Objectives

  • Develop and advance innovations that hold promise of greater profitability through the system.
  • Identify industry needs and provide leadership in satisfying such needs.
  • Bring recognition to the livestock and meat industry as an important component of the Wisconsin economy.
  • Serve as the primary livestock and meat industry resource in the development and expediting of public/private programming.
